Belated announcement.

A huge thank you to the American Oil and Gas Historical Society (AOGHS) for featuring my books on their website earlier this month.  Here's the link.

A special announcement.

Dear Readers,

Sorry for the delay in announcing this.

Just a quick note to let you know that I now have four more books in paperback.  The digital versions will be available at a later date.  One will most likely be released in an eBook form (in addition to the paperback form) by the end of the month), with the other three (as well as two released in late 2020) released in ebook form by late 2021 or early 2022.

This now makes ten books published through Amazon KDP in two years, and I am grateful for their support and their graciousness in answering questions I've had, even serving as a soundboard of sorts for crazy ideas I've had.

I've told friends and family over the journey to four more books (released in an 18-hour span over June 1-2, 2021) that I may never have another chance to do this many books at once.

Windows open and close.  And no one knows when windows open and close.

When opportunities arise, take them.

List follows below.

Thanks, as always, for your support.

Vincent Charles Perini, Jr (1895-1965) was an established oilman in West-Central Texas by the early 1950s.  How did he fare when he tried his hand at uranium mining?  What can we learn about this misunderstood mineral and national defense after World War II?

Titlo: Local Roots, Global Prospects: Robert E. Underwood, George P. Livermore, and the Growth of American Petroleum Around the World After World War II

At a time when foreign oil is a controversial topic, how did we grow dependent on oil produced outside of the USA?  How did two West Texas oilmen help shape foreign oil drilling?
